Bayonne Open for Business: Complete!

A few weeks ago I decided to do what I could as a content creator to help the small businesses of my hometown.

A few weeks ago I decided to do what I could as a content creator to help the small businesses of my hometown. The inability to shoot video, due to social distancing rules, with these small business owners was an opportunity for problem-solving.

I wrote a script and gave guidelines for best practices in shooting cell phone and webcam video and then crossed my fingers. Our goal was to make some small difference for these business owners during this trying time, and I believe we accomplished that goal. This may not be Oscar-worthy, but it has heart, just like our community.

At the end of the day you can use all the flashy toys you like, but story should always be the heart of your content and the business owners of Bayonne tell a compelling one.

Please watch and remember to #shopsmall

  • Special thanks to the folks at DeWolfe Music for being so generous with their content catalog for this project.
